The Lemmings emerged from Barrington Hall in Berkeley around 1977, forming a band that provided a soundtrack to the crazy life that was Berkeley at the time.  Playing throughout the Bay Area ( Keystones Berkeley and Palo Alto, the Berkeley Square, People's Park, Ruthie's Inn, the Starry Plough, Berkeley Veterans Memorial)  their original music was an expression and reflection of life and times in Berkeley in the 70’s and 80’s.
